The mission of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra (DPO) embodies the essence of what the Orchestra has continually provided to the Dayton community for seventy-two seasons. Your gift today to the Crescendo Campaign for the annual fund will help bridge the gap between funds brought in through ticket sales, approximately 50%, and cost of providing exemplary Philharmonic performances and programs to our community. The DPO must raise more than $1.6 million this season from dedicated individuals, corporations, foundations, Culture Works and government grants to continue its superb offerings. We must grow our family and strengthen the financial viability of this organization. Every dollar makes a difference in helping to fulfill the mission of the Orchestra.

Everyone knows that the DPO will bring the most world renowned classical and pops artists to the Mead stage this season. Or that the DPO has received its seventh ASCAP award for adventurous programming of contemporary music? How about the fact that the DPO education programs reach over 93,000 children in 15 counties or that Charity Navigator has given the Orchestra a four star rating for the second consecutive year?
