World premieres are the stuff of history; it’s a mark of pride to be able to say “I was there.” So, expect a crackle of energy when the musicians take the stage for November’s classical program! The clarinet is the star here, as we perform a new concerto by Lowell Liebermann, championed by Jon Manasse, a virtuoso exponent of the instrument. In addition, Neal features a flashy opera overture and closes with Franck’s great Symphony in D minor, also the chief topic of the November Classical Connections concert.
